What Is Color Analysis?

Have you ever put on a shirt and thought, “Wow, I actually look awake today!” Or tried on another color that made you look tired, even though you got plenty of sleep? That’s the power of Color Analysis.

Color Analysis is a personalized process that helps you discover the colors that naturally complement your skin tone, hair, and eyes. When you’re wearing your best colors, your skin looks brighter, your eyes sparkle, and you look healthier and more refreshed—without changing anything about yourself.

Using the 12-Season Color Analysis system, I’ll determine your unique color palette based on your undertone, contrast, and natural coloring. Whether you’re a Soft Summer, Warm Autumn, Bright Spring, Deep Winter, or one of the other twelve seasons, you’ll leave knowing exactly which colors help you look and feel your best.

During your Fort Myers Color Analysis appointment, we’ll use professional draping to compare different shades and see which colors truly enhance your natural features. It’s always amazing to watch the transformation happen right in front of the mirror!

Many of my clients tell me that after their session they shop with more confidence, stop wasting money on clothes they never wear, and finally have a wardrobe that feels like them. Getting dressed becomes easier because you know what works.

My Color Story

I discovered color analysis during a season of change in my life. After breast cancer treatment, my hair grew back gray instead of the color I had worn for years. As I returned to my closet, I realized many of the colors I once loved no longer worked for me.

At first, it felt frustrating. But that curiosity led me to personal color analysis, and everything clicked. Once I understood my palette, getting dressed felt easier, more intentional, and surprisingly empowering. That’s when I realized knowing your colors is a superpower. It removes the guesswork, builds confidence, and helps you show up as your most authentic self.

Now, I get to share that same clarity and confidence with my clients—through both photography and personal color analysis—helping them feel like the best version of themselves.

What should I do to prepare?
For the best results, please arrive with a fresh, makeup-free face (a little mascara and lip gloss is fine). Avoid busy patterns, remove earrings, and wear contact lenses instead of glasses if possible.

How long does the session take?
The color analysis session will be about an hour.

Is color analysis worth it?
For most people, yes — and the ROI shows up in your closet pretty quickly. Once you stop buying colors that don't work for you, you spend less and wear more of what you own. Beyond the practical side, most clients report feeling more confident getting dressed and clearer about their personal style.
